ABOUTJAREDMARCHMAN

Jared Marchman’s love of music started with playing piano at age 7 when his parents enrolled him in piano lessons. He grew up learning the classics and various pop songs of the day. As his love for music and skill progressed, Jared began playing piano at church. He went on to receive a BA in Music from CSUB studying both Classical Piano, Saxophone, and Jazz Improvisation. After receiving his BA Jared moved to Sydney, Australia where he studied contemporary church music at Hillsong College. While there Jared arranged and recorded horn parts on the gold-selling album Mighty to Save.
Today, Jared continues to perform, compose and record in Los Angeles and Orange Counties including arranging and recording pianos/synths on the Newport Church albums Light, Love and Paradise. He has worked with filmmaker Luke Stirtz to compose original music for the short film “The Old Motel Project” and director Nancy Liu on the short film “Orbiting” which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. More recent projects include working with the Center for Medical Progress for tracks in their Human Capital YouTube series which has achieved more than one million views.
